Oriana completed her Master’s degree in Body and Mind Science at the University of Turin in 2019. She then interned at the SpAtial, Motor & Bodily Awareness (SAMBA) research group at the University of Turin, where she focused on studying agency and body ownership.
She is now a Ph.D. student of the University of Turin, affiliated with and funded by the Italian Institute of Technology in Genoa, where she worked in the Cognition, Motion & Neuroscience Group (CMON) on diverse research projects, including the the Vigor in Social Decision-Making Movement Kinematics, Fetuses’ Perception of Biological Motion, Automated Recognition of Fetal Body Parts in Ultrasound Scans, and LMMs’ theory of mind testing.
Currently, Oriana is expanding her Ph.D. research as a visiting scientist at the Department of Neurology of the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) in Hamburg.
